What's New for 2020?
An all-new Jeep Wrangler just came out in 2018. So, as you might expect, the 2020 Jeep Wrangler hasn't changed very much. But the fine-tuning improvements continue to roll out. So what's new? Well, the Jeep Wrangler got safer for 2020. Adaptive cruise control and forward collision warning are now available, the former maintaining the distance between your Jeep and the vehicle in front of you and the latter helping you avoid or minimize a collision.
Last year's update carries over this year, offering plenty of great tech and new engine options, which we'll discuss below. The new standard tech includes a heated steering wheel, rearview camera, and infotainment system with 5-inch touch screen. New available features include blind spot monitoring, cross traffic alert, and upgraded infotainment system with 7- or 8.4-inch touch screen, Wi-Fi hotspot, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Hit the Road, Or Anywhere Else
Jeep knows what it does best, and its Wrangler is no exception. Jeep is one of the few manufacturers that prioritizes off-roading capability. Understandably, Jeep doesn't always nail everything else on the consumer wish list. But if you want to hit the trails and escape the urban jungle, the Wrangler is going to be your best friend. Almost 11 inches of ground clearance, skid plates and part-time four-wheel drive come standard on every single trim, for whenever you're in the mood for an adventure. The Rubicon is the absolute best trim for off-roading, giving you performance suspension and a locking rear differential. Nimble as a mountain goat, bold as a mountain lion.
Abundant Cargo Space
Unless you like to live off the land, you're going to need to be prepared for your off-roading adventures, even if that's just a day at the beach. The Jeep Wrangler has an impressive amount of cargo room, especially for its size. With the two-door model, you'll get just 13 cubic feet with the rear seats up and 47 cubic feet with them down. To be honest, that's not much. But the four-door model has well above-average space. We're talking nearly 32 cubic feet with the rear seats up and more than 72 cubic feet with them down. That ought to do you for a spell!
Power for Days
The best thing about the 2018 update of the Jeep Wrangler was its improved engines. Today you have one of two to choose from. There's a 285-horsepower V6 engine that comes standard. Or you can have the turbocharged four-cylinder for optimal acceleration. When you want to go out to play, the Wrangler purrs in agreement.
